Risk disclosure

DRAFT — requires legal review before launch. This page was drafted as a starting point and has not been reviewed by counsel. It must not go live in this state.

Educational only

University of Passive Income (“UPI”) publishes educational material about how decentralised finance tools work. UPI is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Nothing UPI publishes — including the micro-course, the checklist, the emails, the community, and any one-on-one setup session — is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, or an opinion on whether any transaction is suitable for you.

You can lose everything

Providing liquidity to a decentralised exchange carries substantial risk, including but not limited to:

Do not commit capital you cannot afford to lose entirely.

No performance or earnings claims

UPI makes no representation that any outcome is typical, achievable, or likely. Any figures shown in educational material illustrate a mechanism, not a forecast. Advertised rates on third-party interfaces are backward-looking and are not predictions. Results vary. No specific outcome is promised.

The setup session

The paid one-on-one setup session is hands-on technical assistance with your own accounts and systems. The instructor demonstrates how wallets, exchanges and pool interfaces operate. The instructor does not select investments for you, does not advise on suitability or allocation, does not take custody of or handle your keys, seed phrase or funds, and does not execute transactions on your behalf. All decisions and all transactions are yours.

Your keys

UPI will never ask you for your seed phrase, private keys, passwords, or control of your funds — by email, in the community, on a call, or by any other means. Anyone doing so is not us.

Referrals to Hybrid Advisors

UPI is a separate brand from Hybrid Advisors. If you elect to book a call regarding professionally managed options, you will be connected with Hybrid Advisors, a registered investment adviser. UPI may be compensated for such referrals. That compensation is a conflict of interest you should weigh.

Taxes

Transactions may have tax consequences. UPI does not provide tax advice. Keep your own records and consult your own tax professional.
